Traveling to and from Vienna
Vienna is highly accessible either from the United States or from anywhere in Europe.
Information regarding the mandatory date of arrival for students studying in Vienna is Saturday, June 29, 2013. You are responsible for travel to and from Vienna on schedule. You should begin to plan your flights and itinerary early (in February or March). Students in the summer program often coordinate their travel arrangements. There are direct flights to Vienna as well as flights with minimal connections. It is also very convenient to take public transportation from the airport directly into Vienna for a modest fare. Of course, Vienna is very easy to reach by train as well from anywhere in Europe. It is best to make your arrangements far enough in advance so that you will have a full choice of available travel options.
